That day, my space felt like a treasury waiting to open.
The candlelight flickered against flecks of gold leaf, the air warm with sweet orange and cinnamon, and every surface seemed to hum with possibility. I wasn’t just making an oil, I was setting the stage for wealth to walk through the door and know it belonged here.
Calendula for success, ginger for speed, bay for wealth manifestation… each piece fell into the jar like a coin into a wishing well. I could almost hear the splash as I whispered their purpose, riches, flow, golden doors opening with ease. The crystals caught the light like tiny suns, anchoring the frequency of prosperity into every drop.
When the last swirl of glitter caught the flame’s reflection, I knew the oil had crossed from ingredients to spell. This was Goldleaf: liquid magnetism, sunlight bottled, and an open invitation for abundance to find its way to me again and again.
Maybe my prettiest intention oil I have made so far, also, and I want to share my recipe and process with you.

🕯️ The Ritual
1. The Purification
Cleanse your space before you get started.
Lay your ingredients before you and declare:
“You are the messengers of my wealth. Awaken now.”
2. The Flame’s Oath
Dress your green candle in sweet orange oil or your base oil.
If you wish, crown it with calendula or glitter.
Carve into it the symbol of your desire.
Light it, saying:
“By fire and flame, I call in my claim.
My wealth flows now, I am the same.”
3. The Anointing of Treasures
Take each ingredient in hand. Name it with a single word: Success, Flow, Riches, Now, before dropping it into the vessel. Feel the word take root.
4. The Golden Pour
Fill the bottle with your base oil, then sweeten it with drops of sweet orange EO.
Let the scent fill your lungs, awakening joy.
Scatter gold glitter and gold leaf into the surface and speak:
“Shine, attract, illuminate my path.
I am a magnet for golden wealth.”
5. The Gemstones’ Coronation
Place the crystals within the oil or at its base.
See light pooling in their cores, spilling into every drop of liquid gold.
6. The Sealing
Close the vessel. Hold it as though it is the crown you have claimed.
Swirl it gently, reciting:
“Goldleaf gleams and fortune flows,
Wealth expands, abundance grows.
Swift and sure, my needs are met,
I call it in, no fear, no debt.
As I will, so it begins,
Prosperity dances on golden winds.”
7. The Vigil
Allow the candle to burn to completion beside the oil, its light weaving the final thread of the spell.
🌟 Seal of Claim
Power Phrase: “Draw it to me now. My worth writes the rules.”
Optional: Keep a small amount in a small dropper or rollerball to use on the go.
How & When to Use Goldleaf
Goldleaf is an active oil, meaning it’s not just for pretty bottles and shelf space. Each time you use it, you’re giving your abundance spell another surge of energy. Treat it like a golden key you pull out whenever you want to unlock more wealth, luck, and opportunity.
Ways to Use
Anoint Yourself – Dab on your wrists, over your heart, behind your ears, or the soles of your feet before wealth work, spellcasting, or money-related events.
Dress Candles – Rub a small amount onto green, gold, or orange candles before burning for abundance spells.
Anoint Wallets & Money Tools – Dab lightly on your wallet, cash, checks, or debit card (a corner only, no mess) to “magnetize” them for more incoming flow.
Charm & Talisman Boost – Rub on crystals like citrine or tiger’s eye before carrying them.
Business Blessings – Dab on your business cards, product packaging, or the entrance to your workspace to call in paying customers.
Creative Expansion – Apply to your hands before making art, writing, or starting projects to invite inspired ideas that also bring prosperity.
Opportunity Work – Wear when attending events, networking, or meeting new people who could connect you to growth and success.
Tips
Always apply with intention. Even a drop can carry the full charge of the spell if you focus while using it.
If you use it regularly, you can give your bottle a “recharge” under the waxing moon with your candle and a spoken intention.
Store in a cool, dark place to keep the oils and herbs potent.
Shake gently before each use, the swirl of glitter will reawaken the magic.
I hope you enjoy this recipe/ tutorial. If you make some, I’d love to know how it turned out!
